This was great! It might be a new KJ Charles favourite for me. I really wasn't expecting a lot of the twists that happen, and the resolution to everything came as a surprise too. I was also warned this is not a romance book, and it's definitely not a romance genre story, but there's still a small amount of romance subplot that I enjoyed.
