Becoming a Writer, Staying a Writer: The Artistry, Joy, and Career of Storytelling by J. Michael Straczynski

5.0

Hands down the best book on writing I've ever read, including my beloved Stephen King's "On Writing." This did more than speak to me; it made me laugh and took me on an honest journey delving deep into the craft and the passion for it. For writing pirates like me, JMS also gave me permission to be free with my creativity and precise with my execution. The rules are just guidelines, and this is why he is one of my writing heroes.
