This was such a great book! I think I loved everything about it.
Can I request that all doctor adjacent books be written by an actual doctor. I feel like it’s the only way it’s done with understanding for the overlooked issues and mentality that many doctors face in their personal medical journeys. The failing system, the nepotism issue, the burnout, the trauma, the mentality… most people don’t want to hear about the issues that our medical professionals have just because they make good money.
Ok I’ll get off my soapbox.
The characters were so great. They were relatable, charming, real.
The plot was interesting, with the love triangle bringing you in… but the background making you love the characters and root for them.
The between moving moments and silly were a great. There was so much care taken with serious subjects.
I cried 3 times.
