I love Alice haha it’s been too long since I read this series and idk it just came to mind and I really wanted to re read it bc it was one of my firsts and favorites as a kid in terms of “romance”.
I started it thinking it would read super out dates and I wouldn’t actually like it but WOW this book is basically timeless??? The growth around Mrs. Plotkin was amazing. It sucked that Mrs. Plotkin was written so from such a negative point of view but I think Alice’s perception was overall accurate based off how society expect women to look.

Moderate: Body shaming and Fatphobia
Minor: Bullying and Death of parent
