Finally, after six books plus two novellas, the truth finally came out.  Sutton remembered who killed her and Emma figured it out as well though she didn’t see it coming.  Personally, I suspected it since book three.  The killer was too conveniently there and their home life was really suspicious.

Without giving too much away I thought this book was actually well done.  While the series itself is a bit slower paced than I would have liked it was still an entertaining read.  The ending was both happy and sad to read; Sutton finally was able to pass on but before that, she got to see all the things she was missing and to see that her sister was safe and in a good living situation.  Emma got to know her family—something she always wanted.

However, it is kinda depressing thinking of how it might have been different if Sutton lived, if Emma wasn’t blackmailed into being her all the while knowing Sutton was dead, and how they could have been friends at some point.  Thayer and Sutton’s relationship also breaks my heart to know the grief they both felt.
