9/10 stars!! Immediately after I finished reading The Only Good Indians, I knew I had to go and pick up a copy of My Heart is a Chainsaw as soon as humanly possible, and it did not disappoint. With his classic, slowburn build up that he does so well every time, Stephen Graham Jones sets up a thrilling slasher which culminates in the fantastically heart-pounding, edge-of-your-seat, heartwrenching final third of the book. This was such a good read, a wonderful ode to 80s horror movies (the best kind of movie, if you were to ask me or Jade Daniels), and I can't wait to pick up the sequel!
