I love this so much, but how can I be surprised when it comes to Sierra Simone. She crafts stories so well, and her writing is amazing. I liked getting Tristan and Isolde's POVs this go around. The tension is high, along with the lust. The dynamic between Mark, Isolde, and Tristan is so compelling. If I'm being honest, I wanted more of Tristan's POV, solely because I love him. It wouldn't have added anything to the story. I just like his character. He is the somewhat morally white cream in the morally grey Oreo sandwich that is Mark and Isolde. And yes, it is also as naughty as it sounds. We learn a little more about Mark and his past, which I have been looking forward to. He is such a mystery. And once again, we end on a cliffhanger of sorts. So, I am already so ready for Bitter Burn and seeing the inner workings of Mark Trevena. My enjoyment level went down barely a smidge from Salt Kiss, but that's not saying much because I still loved it!
