Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid

5.0

This has been on my TBR for a long time now and finally bought a copy. I love Taylor Jenkins Reid and one of my favourite books ever is The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. I think I was just nervous to get into it and now I'm just so glad to have read it.
First of all, I didn't realise the story would be entirely in interview transcripts and I thought I wouldn't enjoy this format but I really loved the multiple POVs, they were short, easy to digest and also I loved when they were conflicting with one another. It felt very natural and it gave a chance for all the characters to get their points across.
I really loved the group of characters, they were so well-developed which I think is because we got their true POV. I liked the side-plots, and honestly, the same as The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, it is baffling to me that this is FICTION. It feels so real, as I was reading I was desperate to actually listen to these songs, these lyrics.
This book had me smiling like The Cheshire Cat, sobbing my eyes out, falling in love with this story. I really recommend this book, it's absolutely stunning and so well-written.
