It was great to be back in Kosara's world and living the consequences of her actions from the ending of the last book. I enjoyed the magic spreading/failing? and all of the different dynamics we got to see play out because of that. ALSO such a corrupt universe it's wild and Kosara is so trusting. I was glad to have Asen's character back and to watch that relationship play out. This book wrapped up so well I don't know if we'll get a third, but I would definitely read it.

I normally really enjoy Ashley Herring Blake's works and while this was good there was something about this situation that I found myself not able to go along with. I enjoyed both Lola and Bright as characters and the pretending not to know each other was quite entertaining but I wish I has bought in a little more to there happily ever after? I'm definitely not writing off Ashley Herring Blake but this one just wasn't for me.

Wicked Villians indeed! This was definitely a super spicy dark romance with the retelling of Jafar and Yasmina. It was really cool with the deluxe version because Katee Robert actually has written in footnotes about their thought process while writing and re-reading it. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

Two relatively quick stories from Katee Robert. I can't say this was her best work or my most favourite of hers, but they were quick and had happily ever after's so that's good enough for me!

This was a cute and wintry read! We follow Elsie on a quest to find her mother with a traveler named Kit who isn't all that he appears. Also, Peppermint this best dog ever. This was a relatively cozy fantasy, and I look forward to seeing what Jenny Sandiford does with this world.

This was a very entertaining read. I really enjoyed Winnie and Alaric together but also all of the chaos and side characters the ensued. I look forward to reading more in The Nevermore Murder Club and Smutty Book Cub series.
