This book shocked me with how poignant and helpful it ended up being. Not the cliche I was expecting from the title and a real blessing.

I think this might be one of the best books I’ve ever read.
Murder On The Texas Eagle by Serena B. Miller

This was a cute little story but set your expectations appropriately— it is not a murder mystery. It’s an endearing story about an elderly lady taking her first journey away from home and on the way she witnesses a crime.

This was a wonderfully told story of two fascinating women. It did, however, stretch on a bit.

I so appreciate Peterson’s raw honesty in his writing. It’s a gift. This book wasn’t at all what I thought it was going to be. Turns out, it was exactly the kind of book I love. Reflective, thoughtful, honest but uplifting. I definitely recommend.
