- As soon as I saw that THE DJINN WAITS A HUNDRED YEARS was compared to REBECCA, I knew I had to read it. And the comparison is apt, though this book is certainly its own work of art.
- I loved the slow unraveling of the family history in this book. There was no hurry here, and I was perfectly happy to follow along as the story carefully came into view.
- The cast of characters here is a delight, even amid the sadness. A house full of oddballs with their own secret histories, trying to find solace in themselves and with each other.

- Not to mention, we hardly ever see traditionally published sapphic romances featuring fat and/or butch characters, so this was a real treat.
- Honestly, SEASON OF LOVE is just a perfect example of what romance can do - explore hard experiences and topics with a gentle hand, and show the characters and the readers that everyone deserves more and better for themselves.
Graphic: Child abuse, Cursing, Death, Domestic abuse, Emotional abuse, Grief, and Abandonment
Moderate: Alcoholism and Death of parent
Minor: Sexual content and Antisemitism

- Kiley Reid proves once again that she is a master of complicated, uncomfortable, multi-layered situations brimming with unanswerable questions and emotions.
- COME AND GET IT is a slow build of a book, each decisions the characters make pushing them closer to their individual and collective tipping points.
- In additional the race and class dynamics that animated SUCH A FUN AGE, Reid adds with this book gender and sexuality, creating a cast of characters and experiences that feel so real.

- I love absolutely everything about SECOND CHANCES IN NEW PORT STEPHEN. Queer exploration and discovery! Second chances! Funny and serious! Older main characters!
- I loved that Eli and Nick are almost 40 - they have lived whole lives before finding their way back to each other. I loved that they both discovered the queer parts of themselves "later" in life, and that it's treated as perfectly fine and normal.
- This book is so funny and tender, but it also doesn't brush away the reality of being a queer person in a state like Florida.

Moderate: Alcoholism, Racism, Car accident, and Death of parent
