The time jump threw me for a bit there but this book has a lot of twists and excitement. Definitely kept me on my toes and then left on a cliffhanger!! Gah!!

I liked Better than the Movies cause it was a high school setting. College romances aren't my favorite so I didn't click with this one as much as I hoped. I do enjoy Wes & Liz's banter so I liked seeing that again.

This was full of adventure and fun. I loved the characters and the plot. I'm a sucker for storylines with a handful of trials. This is a great intro to fantasy - kind of reminds me of Throne of Glass!

It was enjoyable and gave me Romeo and Juliet vibes. The connection seemed to click really fast but the chemistry was good!

The perfect depiction to a family road trip. The sibling banter was so spot on and had me rolling with laughter so many times throughout.

"There comes a time in a girl’s life when she has to reach deep down into her soul, clear the pathways of her inner goddess, and let out her nuclear Satan. You know what I’m talking about. The crazy. Don’t try to act like you don’t have it; every woman does."

"My ass is convinced it’s a solo artist putting on a performance for the porcelain gods as it sings a little ditty of plops and toots to anyone who wants to listen."

"Does anyone ever really get over their first crush?"

"You always feel so much better about yourself when your friend gets angry with you rather than trying to solve the problem. Sometimes, you just have to bitch."

“I’m grumpy,” I warned. She popped the toothbrush out of her mouth. “Me too.”“Want to be grumpy together?”

“Distract me. Tell me a secret.”“I love you.”

This was so whimsical and magical, just like Caraval but with some holiday spirit. Perfect little holiday novella. Love Tella & Legend. Also, the illustrations were AMAZING!! I'm obsessed with all the illustrations in the book!!

I loved the Maui Hawaiian setting and the ohana vibe of all the characters. I liked that each of the characters were working through their grief on their own and with each other. I'm excited for Alana's story!! It was just a sweet feel good book all around that even had me tearing up near the end there.
