usually i don’t give books five stars. i think this rewired my brain. it was so fun and light hearted but also so emotional and i loved every second of reading it. i practically finished it in one sitting. eli and alex’s story was so sweet, but their struggles felt real and powerful. the story between the first book and this sequel was a seamless ramp up and i cherished it

Love love love this book it was so sweet and fun my teeth were rotting. Seeing that the author was a fix author first it makes sense (not in a bad way just in a fluff way). It is an incredible book and it’s a SERIES??? THERES MORE?!!?

A fun and sweet twist in a classic. I was gripped by the first page just by the strong attentiveness to historical dress and queer culture. I was in love with Oliver and Darcey and excited to see where their story ended up. A quick and endearing read for sure.
