Bro like so much of this book just felt like pointless
Like they did a stupid love triangle for no reason and then like the last 2 hours of this 13-hour audiobook felt so jam-packed and then to leave off all the fucking cliffhanger like that what the hell
It ended like a mid-paragraph like this should be the climax of the story but it's not it's the end of the book I'm fortunate that I picked this series up after it was completed but good Lord could you imagine ending this book in being like when's the next one coming out? I would die

I hate the love triangle, love the twists, I need to immediately go borrow the next one

Ps 1.why so many twists?
2. I fucking called that Harristen was gay- first book, I clocked it And I'm so excited for him to be with Quent
3. I really hated that love triangle so much it made no sense to me and they wanted to like throw in Lachlan like that was going to be another rival but he's not he has Carrie at home

I feel like I would rank this higher if I was in the right mood but I think I paused at a point where I was like I don't care that much about where this goes right now

It got way better later on I think just the 30% point is not a good place to pause

Also Winzhi is hot and I feel like I could fix him lol
A Not So Fictional Fall by Savannah Scott

This book really gives you nothing, and it's not a bad thing, they just had like no conflicts. The author loomed a danger with a threat of immigration catching on that the main couple got together just for his citizenship but never really took action on it, like, we didn't even see an agent on it and almost everyone went along with their marriage. I did enjoy the book it's a very light read it just felt pretty stagnant
Do Me a Favor by Cathy Yardley

I really like Cathy Yardley's books bc the characters are like fully developed and you can tell the life they have outside of the books parameters. Not to forget that the characters (at least in the 2 books I've read) are older, in their mid 40s. They truly think about their decisions and what it will lead to. AND the audiobook is included with kindle unlimited which I love
