Confused but intrigued. I trust Sarah, but there’s too many questions.

It’s a shame how little character development occurred. Even though the end finallyyyyy took the twist I’ve been waiting for, it was a long time coming. I don’t understand how we’re supposed to like Theon at all as he offers her literally nothing, and I’m not here for the why choose so this one is it for me.

Melissa, your books are bad but I can’t deny they have a drug-like quality that makes me consume them at an insane rate. I didn’t know how I felt about this the whole time, and honestly the jury is still out.

What a ride… broke me in all the ways I knew it would. I love crying on the subway at 7am over Dara. This was beautiful - as a story, as a critique on the ways our choices shape us.

I don’t have words… that ending was so stressful like wtf. I love love love the complexity of these characters and the parallels in the stories between the past and present and characters who are trying not to become just like the powerful rulers they hate. I wish the beginning of the book had a faster pace, but wow that ending had me hooked.
