This story follows Winter Star, a 20-year-old Olympic ice skating champion with family ties to the underworld. Although Winter has always been kept in the dark about her family’s activities, she finds herself in trouble and seeks help from a ruthless Italian named Basilio.

I enjoyed listening to this audiobook in duet narration, and it was a fantastic experience—I highly recommend it. I loved the mystery surrounding Winter’s life, knowing her family is involved in the underworld while she remains unaware. When she accidentally steps into this dark world, everything changes. Basilio is intense and fiercely possessive of Winter. He’s been through a lot within his own family and is in a difficult situation due to his father. I was captivated by the way these two characters fall in love and their intimate connection. When everything falls apart, they eventually find their way back to each other.

I didn’t expect the half-brother storyline, but it was a nice surprise. The spice level was perfect. My only critique is that I wasn’t sure why Winter and her friends were involved in heists and shady business, considering their families are well-off, even if they’re expected to make their own money. I would think family would help if someone was in serious trouble. Other than that, I really enjoyed this read!

DNF at 30% it’s just not gripping me. Lots of characters introduced and losing track of who is who. I don’t feel it’s enemies to lovers or grumpy sunshine. Just a grump and the FMC. I do have questions that were not answered at the start so left wondering.

This story follows Raegan, a 21-year-old who has been the personal assistant to the CEO at Beckham Security for the past six months. Wesley Beckham, the grumpy boss who struggles to keep assistants, notices there’s something different about Raegan, and he can’t stop looking her way.

First off, the audiobook is illegal. The narrators are brilliant, and I was giddy, kicking my feet while listening. It’s easily one of my favorite audiobooks. That said, I loved Raegan and Wes together. The tension and chemistry between them, along with the perfectly timed spice, really hit the spot. The daddy kink had me feeling all kinds of ways—Q.B. knows how to write spice!

However, the ending felt rushed. The fraternization policy wasn’t really addressed after Wesley’s meeting with HR, and when Raegan’s father met Wesley for the first time, the scene was brief. He didn’t seem happy about the age gap but just accepted it? And Liam was simply fired? These moments happened too quickly, without enough elaboration, leaving me wanting more from the story. Other than that, it was still a great read!

Now, three months later, as she starts a new job as a paralegal, she finds herself standing in front of her new boss—the man who left a lasting impression on her three months ago.

I loved Reese and Dawson. This book gives you all the feel-good moments. Reese is so sweet, juggling multiple jobs to support her dreams and her grandmother. Dawson may have controlling moments, but they always come from good intentions. The lines this man comes out with and how much he cares about her dreams had me swooning. The beautiful, sentimental moments mentioned in the book, such as the shoes and drawing flowers on them, were just wholesome. The chemistry between Dawson and Reese was brilliant. I also enjoyed that the series follows family members, but this one focused on a family friend. I have to say, I’m excited for Harrison and Fallon’s story. I love Ann’s writing and look forward to reading more in the future.

This story follows Mai and Theo, two friends with a great relationship. Mai has big dreams of becoming a fashion designer, while Theo isn’t quite sure what he wants or where he fits in the world. So, when a reality TV show for couples in fashion is advertised, why not go for it? But can they stay just friends for long?

This was such a cute, quirky, and fun read that made me fall in love with the characters. I’m not usually one for a “golden retriever” type, but Theo’s nerdy, playful banter had me swooning. He is so passionate about Mai and her dreams, while also being attentive to her anxiety. Mai is so sweet but often doubts herself, and that’s where Theo lifts her up. They work so well together.

I’m not going to lie—when we got to the spicy scenes, my jaw was on the floor. I did not expect Theo to be like that. The wax play scene, I was very unwell. I’m grateful for the representation of anxiety, culture, and disability, which really sets this book apart from other romance book. I had so much fun, and it’s a great audiobook that I highly recommend. I’ll definitely be reading more of Evie’s work in the future.

This follows 24 year old Tru, new to town and about to start teaching again in Silver Hills. After telling him she is not who he think’s she is. Can he win over her heart?

I honestly went through the entire book thinking the FMC’s name was Drew, but finding out it’s actually Tru made me feel so silly! Other than that, I loved this book. Willow has a way of making you feel good while reading. Who wouldn’t want to read about a loving single dad with three daughters he’d do anything for? I enjoyed the challenges Tru and Henley faced together, along with their great chemistry and banter. It’s also a fantastic audiobook, so I highly recommend listening to it. I’m excited to read more of Willow’s books in the future!

I loved this story. Two people who were inseparable as teenagers became separated due to decisions, hidden feelings, and different life paths, only to find each other again many years later. You could feel the tension between Celeste and Lucas. The anger Celeste holds inside makes the chemistry between the two ignite. I was heartbroken over the letters and the moments where they went back and forth, struggling with whether they could or couldn’t be together. I just needed them to be together. Be mindful of some of the content and themes discussed in the book. I look forward to reading more from L.M. Halloran in the future.

I really enjoyed this story and the audiobook! I love books where the FMC is on the run, and I found myself questioning throughout most of the book who she was running from. I finally got the answers toward the end. I loved Abbi and Brady together. Brady isn’t one for commitment or girlfriends, but he fell hard for Abbi. The relationship develops early in the book, so it’s not a slow burn. The nickname “Blue Eyes” had me melting, and the spice was just right. Brady would do anything for his girls. Really enjoying Kristen’s writing. Just be mindful of contents and themes if you dive into this.
