Meh. It was okay. I feel like I needed more. I know it’s a novella. But, I guess I wish it was longer? I never connected with the characters or felt sucked into the story. I hit the halfway mark & only continued because it’s so short. The twist was did surprise me though.

Y’all, when I say this was a roller coaster I am not exaggerating. 😅 A few times I thought I knew what was gonna happen & every time I was wrong. 😂 It was complicated & heartbreaking at times. Heartwarming at others. I had such mixed feelings in the beginning but ended up really enjoying it. I couldn’t stop listening once I got past the half way point. Take this review & do with it what you will. 🤪

Third read through: If it’s possible, I love it even more every time I read it. I’m also equally as heartbroken every time I read it. But, I’ll keep rereading it every time a new book is released in the series. 🩵

Whew. Millie & Holden are something special. Holden’s backstory freaking wrecked me. Talk about perseverance. & the way he loves Millie is something fierce. The stories behind his tattoos & piercings. Sigh. This book made me feel so many things. Millie is strong & sassy which I adore in an FMC. This book gives major @it’s always been you” vibes. I really enjoyed it!

I love the Wild family. Definitely recommend this whole series! All 5 stars from me! Buuut, I will say that Ryan & Polly’s book was my fave overall!

⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 3.5 stars for this one. It’s a cheesy Christmas story my friends! So just know that going in. The banter didn’t really start getting enjoyable until about the half way mark. I can confidently say I enjoyed the second half more than the first. Glad I gave this one a chance after hearing mixed reviews. The audio was great with a full cast. Strongly feel that Atlas now needs his own book. 🩵

Slow. Boring. Underwhelming. Idk. This one just didn’t do it for me. I wasn’t ever shocked by anything. It felt unnecessarily long & redundant at times. I had high hopes but ultimately it was a let down.

That’s a wrap on these short stories. This one was cutesy. But nothing special.

This was so cute! I would have loved a novella or even full length book for more of this story! I can relate to an accident prone FMC. lol! & we love a firefighter MMC! 🥰

I loved it! Workplace romance. Forced proximity. One “bed” (a pallet on the floor in front of a fireplace.) Single mom. A couple damsel in distress moments for our MMC to swoop in. & star-baby Nova was adorable. 🥰
