This was a cute fun rom com to read! I enjoyed the two main characters and their friendship. This was a friends to lovers show burn story with dual POV.
I didn’t find it to be hilarious like some other reviews stated, but then again I’m not a huge “The Office” fan either.
I wish there had been some sort of suspense leading up to their relationship that would have made the story more intriguing and or some sort of mystery involved. Overall it’s a quick easy read that will make you feel good. Thanks for letting me read this as an ARC before it’s published May 6th!

Was this the best book I read this month, no. But it also wasn't the worst book I read either. The characters were okay, the story was okay, and the setting was okay. It was a slow burn with absolutely zero spice, which is usually not a go-to read for me. It does look like this is a second book planned with friends of the main characters. I will probably read it, depending on the other releases that week. It was a solid 3-star book for me, not reread worthy, but I would recommend it to anyone who likes a clean romance.

The office romance I didn't know I needed in my life!! A for sure need to read if you love (or even just like) Jim and Pam from The Office.

This book has so many of my favorite things - friends to lovers, great banter, found family, mostly closed door - and I loved it so much. My first read by Juliana Smith and I truly can't wait to read more.

Read if you like:
-the office
-friends to lovers
-found family
-family group texts
-closed door
-no 3rd act breakup (PTL!)

This was an easy to read office romance that was more insta-love than the slow burn it tried to be. This book highlighted workplace harassment and misogyny in the work industry which can be triggering for some readers. I did feel as if some of it, as well as other scenes and events weren’t fully explained and were often mentioned and then moved on from quite quickly. I wanted it to be fleshed out better. Additionally, in case you are not comfortable reading books with mentions of Harry Potter…it’s in this book quite frequently.
I’m not a massive fan of pop culture references in books generally as it can be quite cringey, but topping it off with mentioning a book written by a problematic author is a big no no for me.
If you do want a light easy read and aren’t too fussed on the details, this book would be a good fit.

Thank you to the author for providing me with a copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review.

HOLY COW I DONT HAVE WORDS. She did it again. amazing, I could not put this book down. I love them the guy falls first. This book cemented for me that friends to lovers is such a great troupe.

This book gave me all the fuzzy warm feels I needed. I will be back to write a more cohesive review in a few days.

BUT ADD THIS TO YOUT TBR, PRE ORDER do all the things
