Tbh I don't remember much about this book. It was cute but I think I was a bit angry cos all they needed to do was have one simple conversation and the situation would have been resolved because they were both so obviously in love with each other. It was a good ku book and there is a second book which follows the mmc's sister and his best friend so like I wanna read that one. I also think the next one is forced proximit  so I'll probably read that one

Oh my goodness! I had so much fun reading this book! It was cute and funny and a super easy read! I couldn’t put this book down!

Luke and Layla are coworkers turned best friends. They give off major Jim and Pam vibes. The office pranks are hilarious & I loooved all of the Star Wars, Ice Planet Barbarians, and GoT references. I loved their progression from strangers to best friends to lovers. It was a slow burn, but it wasn’t frustrating and there’s no third act break up.

this feels so immature and cringey, no subtlety or gradual unraveling of background information either. the fact that i would rather be reading infinite jest tells you everything you need to know.
