a bit cringe at times and way too much smut but mostly a fun read! 

fun as a rom-com, i liked the relationship between them + the typical must be in a relationship to get ceo position (even tho it’s so nonsensical) trope but would have rated it higher if i didnt find every mention of their “acts of revenge” so juvenile 

took a while to get used to the writing style— maybe it’s just because the last book i read had a different style and i don’t read a lot anymore. was cute overall but was not too big of a fan that there was a lot of telling rather than showing.

it felt like a major plot point that kian didn’t like being compared to his dad for reasons unknown to the public so when harper compares them both, he was upset and it added to their dislike for one another in the beginning. would have been nice to see it explained between them later as a part of their developing relationship but instead the reader is just told that kian told harper about it at some point.
