This would’ve been 15 stars if I didn’t feel like the second half was maybe too rushed. I’d have liked it if we got a bit more focus on Wes’s relationship with Brad and Tony, as well as more insight of how Wes’s relationship with Tristan was.

Definitely not as great as Raybearer and Redemptor, but the writing was as amazing as always, as was the worldbuilding. The plot, however, was lacking. It felt more like something that should've been a side-plot of a multi-pov book than, well, a book on its own.

There wasn’t a single character (but Bray and Zaddie) that I liked. Also what king of name is Sister?
