I Can Fix That by Juliana Smith

Cute little listen. The mom was annoying. 🙃 But, she’s a minor character. I did love that he was sentimental. 🥹🥰

It’s not often that I go into a book completely blind. But, literally all I knew about this one is that a friend of mine loved it. So much so that she sent it out in our traveling book group. & I’m so glad she did. It was such a beautiful story about life & love. Such a great reminder to never take anything for granted. It also showed that sometimes things have to get worse before they can get better. But, it will be worth it in the end. Love always is. Thanks for sharing this gem, sweet Joy! Or should I say, Joie. 😘🥰

This one was cute & the concept was funny. I enjoyed being along for the adventure. 😝 Roadtrip. Forced proximity. One bed. Dual POV. All things I love! 😍 Also, it’s a spicy one. 🌶️
Love and Other Conspiracies by Mallory Marlowe

Binged the audio for this in one session today while I was cleaning. I absolutely loved it. It felt so much like my hubby & I at times. My little conspiracy theorist hubby & me the skeptic. Haha! Cryptozoology & conspiracy theories are mentioned but not harped on & this book isn’t trying to convince you of anything. Ultimately, we are following the MMC & FMC try and win funding for their docuseries. And just maybe they fall for each other along the way. All the stars! Definitely recommend! 🩵
What We Keep by Jennifer Millikin

Thank you Valentine PR & Jennifer Millikin for the ARC! HAPPY RELEASE DAY!
I love a marriage in trouble! Wait, that feels wrong to say. More like, I love watching a marriage in trouble be fought for. 😍 Every relationship has flaws. It’s up to us to decide if it’s worth fighting for. This one adds even more dynamic to the situation & becomes a second chance romance in the process. Which I also love. This book. It took me on an emotional roller coaster. But, it was a beautiful ride. I definitely recommend it! 🩵
*side note- I got to listen to the audiobook as well & the narrators were phenomenal! 👏🏻

Oh my goodness! What’s not to love? I have nothing bad to say! I LOVED Skylar and West’s story from start to finish! 😍 The songs we got to hear in the audiobook. 🥰 The immediate connection between Skylar and Ollie. 😭 The way the town just treats this superstar like a normal human being. 👏🏻 I am only sad that I finished it so quickly. Highly recommend. 🩵
Just Some Stupid Love Story by Katelyn Doyle

What a great debut novel! I loved the storyline for this! The hopeless romantic & the cynic get their second chance. But, it just keeps being the wrong place / wrong time. What a ride. I really enjoyed it and it was a quick listen for me. Definitely glad I snuck it in before summer has officially left us. 🩵
So This Is War by Meghan Quinn

I enjoyed this one. But, I wasn’t prepared for how… sexual it was. 🫣😂 Don’t get me wrong. Meghan Quinn’s books are always spicy. But, this was more than that. 😅 So, take that and do with it what you will. I love Posey & was glad to see him get his HEA. The group text with the queens had me cracking up. I also love the way the “frozen fellas” support each other. 🩵 I found myself laughing & clapping along the way. Wylie & Posey are perfect together. 🥰
He's Not My Type by Meghan Quinn

I just KNEW that I was going to freaking love Halsey’s story. It is absolutely my favorite of the series so far. 🥹🩵 When we learned about him / his brother in book one it broke my heart. Even as just a side character, I cared about him so much & wanted to see him get some happiness. I lovedddd Blakely for him. The way their friendship / relationship evolved was so fun to watch. Awkward at times, but intentionally so and it had me cracking up. But, once they hit their stride.. whew! The spice was spicy y’all. And the group text thread had me cackling. 😂 I love me some meddling friends. Lol! The “frozen fellas” are the best found family a guy could ask for. Loved seeing Halsey get his happy. 🥰
Right Man, Right Time by Meghan Quinn

This one was okay. I LOVE Meghan Quinn. Her books are always just the right balance of funny & spicy. & while I still enjoyed this Ollie & Silas' story, it's probably my least favorite from this series so far. Still very excited to continue though. One thing I did really love is the crossover of The Cane Brothers & Ryot from previous MQ books. I always love to get a little glimpse of characters I've loved from the past.
