Cordelia Black is a pharmaceutical rep by day and a vigilante serial killer by night.  She has a code and a system of disposing of her prey.  She is very much a lone wolf with the exception of her best friend, Diane, and goddaughter, Sugar.  The tension and twists in this tale kept me on the edge of my seat.  Watching Cordelia try to escape her wretched past and maintain her daytime facade was exhilarating.  I read the whole thing in one sitting.  I wish the ending could've gone a slightly different direction, but was still thoroughly happy with the story as a whole.  This is a great book for people who love Dexter Morgan.  Thank you NetGalley, Poisoned Pen Press, and Emma C. Wells for this ARC.  All opinions are my own.

Stephanie and Jasmine are strangers that meet on a plane by chance.  Both of them go their separate ways and then begin texting their families about a man.  Shortly after that, they both go missing.  Is this man to blame or is there something more sinister going on?  EVERY SINGLE TIME I thought I had the story or a situation figured out, I was slammed with another twist.  It was an amazing read.  The characters were all well written and easy to love (or hate) based on their individual qualities.  I cannot wait to read more from Jessie Garcia!  I was also given the opportunity to listen the audio version of this book and highly recommend that edition as well!  Thank you NetGalley and Jessie Garcia for this ARC.  All opinions are my own.

I believe that the several narrators in this ALC are what made the story so special.  Each narrator played their characters seamlessly so that there was never any confusion about who was who.  They embraced the both the positive and negative qualities in there characters and played them beautifully!  Jessie, you have a new fangirl!  Thank you NetGalley, MacMillian Audio, and Jessie Garcia for this ALC.  All opinions are my own.

Alice Feeney does it again! This book took me on so many turns, my head is still spinning. I couldn't stop listening to this. I binged it all over two days listening while I did everything except sleep. Grady Green's loses everything when his wife goes missing. He needs to get back on the saddle and get writing his next book or he's going to have nowhere to live. He's given the opportunity to stay on a secluded isle in Scotland to give him the privacy and quiet that he needs to focus on his writing. Soon though, he notices that things seem quite strange on the island. He has to get to the bottom of what is happening while figuring out how to get off the island to save himself.

I was so excited when I received this audiobook, and I was even more excited that the story didn't disappoint! I really enjoyed the audio. There are two narrators. They embody their characters so well. There was a bit of a theatrical component where you could hear the waves crashing, banging, etc that added to the story perfectly. I don't always like the theatrical audios, but these fit well within the story.

Thank you Netgalley for the opportunity to listen to this advance audiobook copy. All opinions are my own.
