Challenge Accepted!: 253 Steps to Becoming an Anti-It Girl by Celeste Barber

I really like the author's Instagram, but I didn't like the book enough to finish the whole thing. I thought it might be because we don't have much in common, but then I realized I have enjoyed stories about motherhood and whatnot before. The book just doesn't seem to have a clear purpose.

The ending was not satisfying at all, and I'm not sure why it's billed as a mystery. There is no mystery, except why Mildred keeps putting up with Veda.

I normally love David Baldacci and was excited about a badass female protagonist, but this plot and some of the things that happened were way over the top and a little unbelievable. And I agree with another reviewer about there being too many characters. The setting was pretty cool, but I hope the next Atlee Pine book is a little less crazy.
