Oh my god, I really love this series. It's fun and cozy and so ridiculous. The romance is great, but the found family aspect is really what I love the most. Gem is such a star in these books, and I CAN NOT WAIT for his own story. Every character brings something fun and interesting to the story. These books are very low angst, and they're such a comfort to read. I really loved how the trans rep was written here, and as a trans person myself, I found it super relatable. It may not be fully necessary to read book one, but it will definitely help make things make sense and up the enjoyment factor. I actually think I like Jude and Toni more than Oliver and Liel, but I just love them all so much. I highly recommend checking this one out.

So, I think I liked this just a *smidge* more than The Silencer. There's just something about Angel that draws me to his character. He's layered and so much more complex than we initially believe. He has that softness we see in The Silencer, but in this book, we get to experience his fierceness and strength. Ultimately, Angel and Mikhail are much more similar than they think. This book is a journey, and Mikhail and Angel have a lot of back and forth throughout it. I really enjoyed this one so much. And the Bane content wad *top-notch*. This book is emotional, but also so much fun.

So, admittedly, this took me a bit to really get into. There is a lot of world building, but the interesting characters are what kept me with it, and I'm so glad I did. Ash is a really relatable character, so I liked that we get the story through his POV. We learn about the Folk right alongside him. The lore of this world is super intriguing, and there is a lot of it. It feels a bit like info dumping for a bit, and it feels like the story drags for a chunk of the book, but it's worth powering through. This ends on a cliffhanger, and I am so excited to read Forgotten Vows after this.

I enjoyed this one *just* a touch more than Monster Pucker. This one was just as fun, but there was something about Ehrokk and Marco that just gripped me more. This story is equal parts sweet and spicy. I loved the communication between our MCs, and I really enjoyed how they were unapologetically themselves. This was pretty low angst and high spice. It's a good, simple, quick, and easy read for the holidays.

This anthology of magical trans stories healed something in me. As someone who grew up loving a certain wizarding series that became tainted, these stories were something I needed. I enjoyed every one of these short stories, but the couple that stood out for me were Halloween Love and Genderella. I really loved how diverse the stories were as well. This anthology encompasses so many different experiences, and I always enjoy seeing that. This is definitely worth checking out.

Super fun and spicy monster holiday novella. We get Klaus and Flurry (a krampus and a Yeti) who are professional hockey players and also mates. They meet human reporter, Holly, and you can guess what happens. It's pretty insta-lovey, which I can feel pretty meh about at times. I loved the relationships between everyone. My only thing is that I wish we saw more character development with Holly. That said, I really enjoyed this. It's simple and entertaining.

Simple, fun, and spicy. I mean, it's hot af. Who wouldn't be curious about some spicy times with three demonic hell creatures? And it's queer, so that's a plus in my book. I absolutely love the premise of female pleasure opening a portal to hell. It makes me chuckle just thinking about it, and Viano Oniomoh definitely made it a fun and interesting little read. Not my favorite one of hers that I have read, but still so so good because I don't think she can ever miss at this point.

Fun, simple, and super quick little paranormal rom-com. The antics are hilarious, the romance is sweet, and there is plenty of hot spice packed in this short read. If you need a fun and easy read, then this is perfect for that. That's what my brain needed, and that's what I got. It's worth checking out for that.

I loved this so much. A lot of queer historical romances focus A LOT on homophobia. And while there is a bit, it isn't heavy-handed in the story. This focuses way more on the romance and friendships of the story. This felt so cozy and sweet. I really love the family that formed between Ollie, Floyd, Effie, and Jo. Effie is for sure the unsung hero of this story, and I would read a whole book about her if there ever was one 👀. Both Floyd and Ollie are so great in their own separate ways. Floyd is so loyal, and Ollie is so loving. They both have very realistic character growth in the story that I really enjoyed seeing. They were believable characters with a believable relationship, and where the story ended for them felt like I could believe in the lasting nature of their relationship. I really really enjoyed this. The characters have so much depth that makes them interesting, and the focal point of this character driven story. It made it so easy to power through this read. This is super sweet and interesting, and definitely worth checking out.

This is a super fun continuation of the Necessary Evils universe. But be aware that it also has plenty of dark subject matter, so check TWs. The growing relationship between Arsen and Ever was sweet, sure (if a little too insta-lovey for my usual tastes), but the found family is what I absolutely loved here. I really enjoyed seeing how Jericho's boys accepted Ever and made him one of their own. It was also especially fun seeing some of the Mulvaney clan when they went to take out the big bad of this story. All in all, this is a good time, and if you enjoyed the Necessary Evils series, then you would probably like this as well.
